This award was first created with Clarks passing in 2013. Each year, an apprentice is chosen that has demonstrated all the great characteristics of leadership along with the drive to learn. We are honored to have Mrs. Bonnie McDonald and the Honorable Melody Wilkinson attend the meeting and present the winner with an award check.

We deliver training to about 10,000 pro carpenters and millwrights from the Central South Carpenters Regional Council and the Southern States Millwright Regional Council.
The UBC places a top priority on developing the total professional carpenter and millwright: Someone who is not only a technical expert in their craft, but who also demonstrates effective communication and leadership qualities.
The UBC invests more than $200 million every year into training through its International Training Center (ITC). Hundreds of courses are created, refined, and offered in either a “train-the-trainer” format or in direct member education.
Proudly serving the men and women of the Central South Carpenters Regional Council and the Southern States Millright Regional Council.
