Our Austin Training program is hard at work developing a pipeline of talent to fill the skilled labor shortage in the construction industry. Texas carpenters participated in the Multi-Craft Core Curriculum program, sponsored by the Texas Building Trades. This three-week program introduces potential skilled craftsmen to various trades, so that they can make an informed decision. The group toured the Austin Training Center and Austin Training Coordinator Bobby Vasquez also held mock interviews to acquaint the group to the application process. We are happy to announce that a group of the participants are actively interested in joining the carpenters! Great work, everyone!
